United Presbyterian Church

United Presbyterian Church

We strive to recognize and nurture the Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter along the way. Our church is a thriving community of believers, and lovers of the word of God.

Wherever you go, God is sending you, wherever you are, God has put you there.

He has a purpose in your being there. Christ who dwells in you has something He wants to do through you where you are. We believe this and live in His grace and love and power. In our family of faith you will find caring, loving people.

There's a place for you at United!

About United Presbyterian Church

Presbyterians affirm that God comes to us with grace and love in the person of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose for us so that we might have eternal and abundant life in him. As Christ's disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers. God sends the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, giving us the energy, intelligence, imagination, and love to be Christ's faithful disciples in the world.

Presbyterian refers to the governmental structure of the church, led by Presbyers (from New Testament Greek meaning Elders). Elders provide the spiritual leadership of the church. We also have a board of Deacons to provide care for the members and community. Our board of Trustees care for the buildings and grounds, keeping them in excellent shape as our center of mission into the community.
